The curriculum is designed to take advantage of students' existing skills, to expand upon their knowledge of the language, and to enhance their ability to read, write, and communicate more effectively in Spanish. In addition, the materials provide a cultural window into the Spanish-speaking community, both within the United States as well as abroad. (C-ID: SPAN 220)
