    Description
    This course offers fundamental knowledge of mental health concepts, issues, principles, therapeutic skills, and disorders throughout the life span. Specific psychological and psychosocial conditions such as: suicide, domestic violence, child and elder abuse, and substance abuse will be reviewed. A multidisciplinary approach describing treatment of clients with mental health disorders will be introduced to the students. This course is only included in the Associate Degree in Nursing (RN) Program.
