    Description
    The purpose of this course is to help students who need to improve their basic math skills in order to develop their adult roles as productive worker, effective family member, responsible community member and lifelong learner. The goals of this course are to improve students' basic competency in life skills math and employment-related math. The competencies for life skills math include solving real-fife math problems such as balancing a checkbook, making a budget, and calculation or estimating costs and expenses.
