Transfers ToCSUDescriptionThis course provides information on conducting an explosive investigation and a surveillance operation, preparing a search warrant, testifying as an expert witness, assembling a curriculum vitae, and properly documenting a criminally caused fire. In addition, each student will be assigned to an investigative team to conduct an investigation of their own criminally caused fire. During this practical exercise, each team will be required to conduct the scene investigation, properly collect and document supportive evidence, prepare their written case report, and present their finding to a district attorney and a judge to review.
