The topics discussed in this course cover important concepts of Chemistry that include Nomenclature, Atomic Structure, Quantum Theory, Thermochemistry, Periodic Properties, Chemical Reactions, Stoichiometry, Gas Laws, Molecular Structure, Bonding, States of Matter, and Solutions. Additionally, the course may cover topics on Reaction Energies, Kinetics, Nuclear Chemistry and Organic Chemistry. Moreover, the CHE 210 accompanies a sequence of laboratory activities intended to support the above topics including both qualitative and quantitative experiments, analysis of data and error propagation.
