Students analyze how cinema serves as a space for resistance, decolonization, and the reimagining of collective identities. Topics include gender, migration, class, media, and representation across diverse communities. Emphasis is placed on inclusive perspectives, including those of Indigenous, Afro-descendant, immigrant, and LGBTQ+ filmmakers and audiences.
