Students explore sexual anatomy and physiology, sexual development, gender and sexual identities, sexual behavior and relationships, sexual health, and social, ethical, and policy issues. Emphasis is on the critical evaluation of research as it relates to individual sexuality, attitudes, and behaviors, while also examining gender norms, societal values, and media influences on sexual beliefs and practices.
