It assumes a prior knowledge of mathematics through algebra/trigonometry. Central topics include kinematics, vectors, forces, energy, rotational motion, heat, fluids, waves, and sound. The course is designed to meet the needs of students majoring in the biological sciences and science-allied fields such as architecture.
