Transfers ToCSUCSU GE Area C1DescriptionThis course is for the study, rehearsal, and public performance of literature appropriate for choral ensembles, with an emphasis on the development of skills needed to perform within a large ensemble. Different literature will be studied each semester. The course culminates with a public performance. Students will explore the physiology of singing and basic vocal technique, will read choral music notation, and will learn to analyze the historical context and structure of a stylistically varied repertoire.Usually HeldWed 5:00pm–6:50pm, Wed 6:00pm–7:50pm
