    Description
    This course is specifically designed for Educational Assistance Center (EAC) students who have a diagnosis that hinders their ability to grasp and apply mathematical concepts. The course will cover ratio, proportion, percent, introduction to algebra, basic introduction to measurement and statistics and introduction to geometry. The class will also include test-taking, mnemonic, and memory strategies for learning and recalling basic mathematical operations. Various learning strategies will be utilized to help students to overcome barriers to learning mathematics that have previously slowed their progress.
