Students will explore the political, military, economic, social, and cultural evolution of the early civilizations of Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Americas. Students will also investigate the impact of religion, technology, migration, trade, and war on the relationships between the major civilizations of the ancient world. Honors work challenges students to be more analytical and creative through expanded assignments, real-world applications, and enrichment opportunities. Duplicate credit will not be awarded for both the honors and regular versions of a course.
