This course is an elementary level Filipino course, the national language of the Philippines, or Tagalog, the language on which Filipino is based. It aims to develop all four language skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing at the elementary level. This course examines pronunciation, word formation, grammar, and sentence structures while providing the essential vocabulary in various situational contexts, appropriate forms of address, and cultural nuances for communication.
