    Description
This course is the second semester of the Organic Chemistry series with emphasis on the physical properties, chemical reactions, and mechanisms associated with the oxygen-containing and nitrogen-containing organic molecules. The structures and functions of four major biological molecules in human, carbohydrates, proteins, lipids, and nucleic acids, will be included. The lab will involve multiple-step synthesis from smaller organic molecules to larger molecules and identification of major organic and biological molecules.
