The current Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, including co-occurring substance use and mental health conditions, will be introduced, along with medications for addiction treatment. The American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) criteria and continuum of ASAM levels of care will be covered.
