    An introduction to phonetics including the analysis, description, and transcription of speech. The course encompasses speech production, acoustics, International Phonetic Alphabet, fine phonetic transcription, phonetic measurements, dialects, and the analysis of both normal and abnormal speech sounds. Protocol techniques for therapy are covered.
