    An examination of contemporary critical themes in the interdisciplinary field of Black and Africana Studies. This includes perspectives from history, sociology, psychology, gender/sexuality studies and other fields while applying an American dominant, ethnic and racial minority intergroup relations. This course addresses continuing issues of racism and discrimination faced by African Americans and those identifying as Black throughout the African Diaspora communities.
