    Accepted For Credit: CSU & UC Offered: Fall & Spring Semesters, Every Year This course offers an introduction to Women's and Gender Studies, an interdisciplinary field that asks critical questions about the meanings of sex and gender in society. Central to this course are the ways in which place, race, ethnicity, sexuality, gender orientation, class, religion, and age intersect to shape women's experiences and the various socio-political meanings of gender.
