Students engage with topics of activism, intersectionality/Mestizaje, decolonization, education, and immigrant experiences through Chicanx/Latinx cultural texts. Students have the opportunity to attend a field trip to the San Francisco Mission District and attend a Latino Mural Tour led by artists from the Precita Eyes Muralists collective.
