Advanced level respiratory care skills including specialty skills, cardiopulmonary assessment, management, evaluation, and decision- making processes involved in the care of the ICU patient are emphasized. Students practice as a member of the hospital health care team. The course culminates in three main activities required for graduation: preceptorship at hospital, oral exams, and NBRC exams which students must pass TMC at 75%.
