    Accepted For Credit: CSU Offered: Spring Semester, Every Year This course covers theory related to analysis of cardiopulmonary assessment findings and cleaning and sterilization of respiratory care equipment. This course also includes study of airway management devices; respiratory pharmacology; additional fundamentals of respiratory physiology including assessment of oxygenation and hypoxia; beginning acid base balance; and arterial blood gas analysis. This course presents basic theory and rationale for respiratory care. The course includes history and organization of respiratory therapy services. (GR)
