    Accepted For Credit: CSU & UC Offered: Fall & Spring Semesters, Every Year This course is designed for liberal arts and education students. This is a survey course of college mathematics with emphasis placed on the nature of mathematics, problem solving, and thinking patterns. Topics covered are selected from the areas of sets and logic; methods of proof; elements of probability and statistics; geometry; systems of numeration; math of finance; basic trigonometry and calculus; math history; and linear programming.
