    LE-227A24, POST certified basic law enforcement academy, or equivalent as determined by the Dean of Academy Instruction. NOTE: Approval of equivalent training is not a guarantee state regulatory or licensing agencies will also grant equivalency. This course is an intensive study in causes, recognition, identification of abuse, neglect, and sexual exploitation of children. Emphasis is placed on laws, procedure of handling cases, effective interviewing/investigative techniques, action/referral, and investigator stress management. (Formerly AJ-230A1) (GR)
