    Offered: Fall Semester, Every Year This is a comprehensive course in the study of textiles as related to interior design. Fiber and fabric construction and characteristics are examined; textile choices are evaluated and analyzed for safety, functionality, and aesthetics; and the impacts of textiles on interior environments are considered. Students gain an empirical understanding of the nature of textiles though hands-on projects in the laboratory component. (GC)
