    Description
    Advisory: ENGL-101A or ENGL-C1000; eligible for college-level math Accepted For Credit: CSU & UC Offered: Fall & Spring Semesters, Every Year This course explores the integrated functions of the different organ systems in the human body. This course covers cell biology, anatomy, histology, and physiology of the following body systems: integumentary, skeletal, muscles, nervous, endocrine, and reproductive. Key concepts covered include homeostasis, structure/function relationships, the physiology of excitable membranes, and interactions of body systems. The course requires PhysioEx and Powerlabs as part of laboratory work. Students need to provide a lab coat, goggles, and a box of latex gloves.
