    Offered: Fall & Spring Semesters, Every Year This course is designed as an introduction to Adobe Photoshop for photographers, designers, and artists with little to no experience with the software. Students learn the basics of the Photoshop interface; the tools and processes for editing photographs; and methods for creating digitally-based images and text. Additional instruction and assignments introduce the fundamentals of photographic practice, graphic design, and color theory. Emphasis is placed on developing the skills and vocabulary for the assessment and analysis of photographs, designs, and other works of art. (GC)
