Students gain general and practical working experience in the acquisition, installation, and use of necessary studio equipment and supplies by helping to maintain the Ohlone ceramic studio. The machinery includes such items as kilns, wheels, pug mill, slab roller, extruder, spray booth, compressor, glaze materials, and ceramic library.
