Transfers ToCSUDescriptionOffered: All Terms, Every Year This course provides an overview of digital art strategies and practices and their relationship to traditional fine art drawing and painting. This course is an introduction to digital painting and drawing for creative expression in fine art and illustration. Using software and drawing tablets, students use digital tools for the artistic expression of the concepts and techniques inspired by traditional and contemporary art. This course takes an exploratory approach to the tools and emphasizes fundamentals, curiosity, and creative expression. Students apply the concepts learned in this class through the digital tools that they have available to them. (GC)
