    Accepted For Credit: CSU & UC Offered: Fall & Spring Semesters, Every Year The goal of this course is to contribute to the discovery and understanding of the basic objectives, principles, and methods used in graphic design. Students are introduced to compositional strategies and visual communication problem-solving skills employed by artists and designers. In addition to introducing students to design strategies, this course challenges students to determine goals; make observations and decisions; and develop graphic design materials that are concise, informative, and visually engaging.
