- Offered: Fall Semester, Odd Years This course is the optional laboratory component of ANTH-103, Introduction to Archaeology. This course deals with the methods of scientific excavation, implementing the techniques of a field archaeologist. Emphasis will be on the scientific method as it relates to excavation, classifying, cataloging, and preservation of past human cultures under supervised field and laboratory conditions. (GC)
