    Description: The study of the principles, techniques, and practices of theatrical costume design for stage, television, and film. Includes script and character analysis to achieve characterization through design and working collaboratively with the director and design staff. The choice, use and manipulation of patterns, textiles, jewelry, and accessories to imitate the historical needs of the production while maintaining production budget guidelines. Student will be assigned costume crew responsibilities for a theatrical production. 45.00 hours lecture and 27.00 hours laboratory. (Letter grade only)
