    Description: This course introduces the techniques and elements of electronic music production. Topics include synthesis, sampling, MIDI sequencing and audio production. Students will create original compositions using electronic music techniques. Students taking this course will complete the official AVID coursework for Pro Tools 101 and 110 and will have the opportunity to obtain AVID Pro Tools User Certification. 54.00 hours lecture and 54.00 hours laboratory. (Letter grade only)
