This course focuses on the fundamentals of equipment set up and configuration, mixing surfaces, amplifiers, speakers, signal path, signal processing, microphones, monitoring and mixing techniques and acoustics. This course offers opportunities for hands-on experience in troubleshooting, sound checking and mixing live sound. 36.00 hours lecture and 54.00 hours laboratory.
