    Description: Advanced skills used to frame hip roof types, and includes terminology, roof characteristics, and construction methods. Students will interpret print views and elevations for job planning to determine hip roof rafter systems and layout details. Students will perform rise, run, rafter angles and length calculations. Framed wall construction will be incorporate to facilitate the hip roof assembly techniques and installation procedures that are the focus of this training. 27.00 hours lecture and 18.00 hours laboratory. (Letter grade or Pass/No Pass option)
