    Description
    Description: Theory, methods, and procedures required in mass timber construction. Hands on practice using proper tool techniques and appropriate material will enhance fundamental skills development. Beginning with prints, the students will perform elevations, rig, signal, hoist, and erect a two-story structure consisting of GLT post and beams and CLT shear walls, decks, and stairs sections. In addition to an overview of fall protection and rigging as they pertain to mass timber construction. All participants will receive SWCTF Rigging Qualification Training. 20.00 hours lecture and 21.00 hours laboratory. (Letter grade or Pass/No Pass option)
