    Description: Provides students experiential based training in archaeological survey, excavation, and laboratory processing of excavated material. Includes recognition and recordation of historic and prehistoric sites, theory and methods of archaeological processes (stratigraphy, sampling, record keeping, note taking, profiles, mapping), and basic archaeological field laboratory techniques. 36.00 hours lecture and 54.00 hours laboratory. (Letter grade or Pass/No Pass option)
