    Description: Fundamentals of criminal investigations from initial report/discovery through adjudication. Establishing statutory elements of criminal acts, initial law enforcement and public safety investigative response, jurisdiction, multijurisdictional investigations, evidence identification and collection, criminal intelligence collection and analysis, open-source intelligence and investigative informational sources, modus operandi, discussion and identification of general and specialized criminal investigations, case preparation, and adjudication. 54.00 hours lecture.
