Texts range from drama of the Ancient Greek, Renaissance, and Modern periods; poetry from the 16th to the 21st centuries; and fiction from the 19th to 21st centuries. This course emphasizes critical analysis of texts and revision of student writing. A minimum of 6,000 to 8,000 words of writing is required.
