Description: The Emergency Medical Technician Basic course is designed to prepare students for entry level work in the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Sector with an ambulance or other specialized service. Students in the course will learn emergency medical care at the basic life support (BLS) level. This course will prepare students to sit for the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) exam.
