    Description
    This course will provide students with a basic knowledge of domestic water wells, water booster pumps, pump theory, electric motor theory and design. Water well design regulations and abandonment will be discussed as well as maintenance procedures in the field and in the shop. The class will cover the various types of pumps used in the water industry and discuss the various uses and maintenance issues for each style of pump. (formerly WATR 140)
