Elements of film production such as narrative structures, mise-en-scene, cinematography, performance, editing, and sound are explored for the purpose of demonstrating how artistic and technical choices create meaning. Analysis of both narrative and non-narrative filmic texts are explored to develop the students' perception, appreciation and analytic skills in film studies.
