It places special emphasis on key figures, including the pre-Socratics, Plato, Aristotle, Epicurus, St. Augustine, Boethius, St. Anselm, St. Bonaventure, and St. Thomas Aquinas. The course also aims to examine medieval philosophers from beyond the Western tradition.
