    This course provides a foundation and introduction to nursing and the roles of the registered nurse with emphasis on nursing process, critical thinking, nursing knowledge, and basic skills necessary to administer beginning level assessment and intervention/procedure for adults and geriatrics populations. Clinical experiences will provide opportunities for students to participate in therapeutic activities in a variety of health settings that focus on health maintenance and promotion.
