Transfers ToCSUDescriptionThis course is a collegiate jazz ensemble that facilitates the study of jazz performance at an advanced-intermediate level. Jazz music in a variety of historical and modern styles is explored in both large and combo-sized ensembles, with a particular emphasis on developing improvisation and ensemble leadership skills. The ensemble performs each semester, both on and off campus, and may also join with other college ensembles or performers.
