Transfers ToCSUDescriptionThis course introduces students to the basic operations of small, unmanned aircraft systems (sUAS), drone vehicles, for use in geospatial information science (GIS) applications. The course equips students with the basic drone flight skills and knowledge about the regulations and procedures governing the safe and legal operation of small, unmanned aircraft systems. The course prepares students to become commercial sUAS pilots and to take the Federal Aviation Administration's Part 107 airman knowledge test.
