Transfers ToCSUCSU GE Area EDescriptionThis course facilitates the study of ballet technique and aesthetics at an advanced-intermediate level. The dancer's technical, artistic and expressive dance skills will mature within both classical and contemporary ballet styles. Class exercises will be contextualized within the historical and cultural context of ballet with a focus on politics and power in particular relation to gender, race, and ethnicity.
