    Description
    This course provides students with fundamental knowledge of relational, social and cultural development through the examination of interpersonal communication dynamics. Concentration is focused on the personal, situational and cultural influences on various societal interactions including those of perception, interpersonal dynamics, power structures and conflict development, verbal and nonverbal symbol systems, and listening. Discussions of theory and structured exercises are combined to have students explore multiple approaches to interpersonal relationships in both personal and professional contexts.
