Through the study of prefixes, suffixes, and combining forms, students learn to analyze medical terms related to body systems, diseases, diagnostic procedures, and treatments, with emphasis on correct pronunciation, spelling, and contextual usage. Instruction includes interactive lectures, multimedia demonstrations, transcription exercises, case scenarios, and a variety of practice tools such as quizzes, flashcards, and dictation activities to reinforce understanding and retention.
