    Concepts of nursing assessment and intervention with application to clients with psychiatric disorders in a mental health setting. Concepts of mental/emotional health and illness are presented within the Nursing Process. Theories of personality development and effective coping strategies for all stages of the life cycle from childhood through senescence are included.
