Transfers ToCSUDescriptionThis course is for the study, rehearsal, and public performance of literature appropriate to the ensemble, with an emphasis on the development of skills needed to perform within a specialized ensemble, namely chamber instrumentation, also including percussion, guitar, and piano ensembles. In addition, ensembles particular to Jazz genres would be included, such as combo instrumental ensembles and specialized vocal arrangement ensembles. Different literature will be studied each semester. Choice of ensemble is based on each student's identified major instrument or voice. The course is repeatable for credit the maximum times allowable by regulation.
