    Description
    This course is for the study, rehearsal, and public performance of literature appropriate for a non-auditioned choral ensemble with an emphasis in the development of skills needed to perform with a choral ensemble consisting of individuals with little or no prior choral experience. A variety of mixed choral repertoire will be studied and performed, from music of the Renaissance to contemporary Pop, Broadway, and Vocal Jazz. Rehearsal time will also be devoted to vocal development and improving music theory skills. This course is repeatable for credit the maximum times allowable by regulation. Attendance at performances is required.
